So I have been searching for a little design inspiration for my dresses.  Trying to branch out and get different styles from mine.

And I used to love to try and find products and brands that not everyone else had, so I have been searching online to find independent designers and boutiques in the South that sell these amazing beautiful adorable dresses and I stumbled upon the most ADORABLE designer I am obsessed!  Judith March.  I don't love every single thing she has... some of them are a little too hippie for me.  Although I think they are adorable, just not exactly my style.  I kinda wish I had to dress up for work..  So I could wear my stuff more.  Eh.

I stumbled upon this dress and really started researching the brand and oh my god... I just fell in love!

The second dress comes in a few different colors that I found that boutiques sell. There are a few others that I love too... and her previous collections that some boutiques sell are so freaking cute I love it!

So I'm walking out of Washington Ave Post this morning (and there was no stalker this morning..Thank God..) and I walk across the street and look down in front of our womens store Beverly's Hill... and see a piece of a weave.  How lovely.  So maybe last night someone got into a little fight at Sidebar and someone got their weave ripped out. Isnt that special?!!

So we ended up not going out last night because Ashley didnt feel very good. So, only one NYE celebration for me! haha but I really was looking forward to going out with the girls because I feel like I havent been doing much of that lately.  Just a few happy hours and all the holiday craze and staying in and being good.  Getting work done.. laying low.  Learning how to cook.. I never thought id say that.  Learning how to sew is my next adventure after I get this cooking thing down to an art..

I have actually been making my bed before I go to work every morning. My room is so clean and organized, feels good.  I even got rid of some shoes in my closet so I could make room for my new stuff... haha

Does anyone else think this warm weather is a tease? Atleast I wont be freezing my ass off on NYE in my dress... Which I'm super excited about wearing.  Speaking of which I havent gone tanning since the end of August... I am so pale.  I was looking at pictures from this summer last night and between tanning in the spring, going on spring break and being at the pool almost everyday this summer I was sooo tan.  Well, sooo tan for me.  I think probably the tannest I have ever been in my life.  And today is the last day of my Stuff White People Like calender because I'm off tomorrow.  Sad.  I need a new one, does anyone know if they made one for 2011?

My Blackberry is so effing slow now.  January needs to come so I can get the iphone.  Yeah Yeah.. I dont need it because I have an ipod touch but, I really want it now.  This has been a pretty recent development so my blackberry is so slow now... It takes forever to load a web page.

If I die...

Just a heads up if I go missing or somebody finds me in a ditch somewhere.. For the past 3 mornings there has been a huge silver Dodge Ram that drives down Wash Ave and honks and screams at me... (This is what I get for doing the exact same thing every single morning) I go to Starbucks, drink my coffee, read the paper or read the news on my phone... listen to my book, whatever.  Then around 8:45-8:50 I walk down to Washington Ave post (right across from Sidebar) and I get a sugar free Red Bull or a Diet Coke fountain soda, walk in the doors at work right around 9:00... every.single.day.  Now you all know and can stalk me.  How ever, this guy drives down Wash ave, honking... yelling things at me, I just ignore him act like hes not even there.  Well... today I'm standing outside Wash Ave post talking on the phone.. Saw him honk, turn around scream at me, I ignored him... again.  Well, he parks in front of the Boxers store... and gets out of his car and starts screaming at me again..

So obviously I dash into Wash Ave post as fast as can... freaked out. I buy my Red Bull (luckily there were like 10 ppl in there) and I dash around, walk as fast as I can out of the store... and then book it across the street and into the building.  So, now Im sure he kinda figured out where I walk every morning.  And the door I have to walk in to get into the office is in an alley... sooo... I'm just leaving my knowledge on the subject here with you all.  In case I die tomorrow going to work.  Or coming out of work tonight...

Seriously.

Mizzou.. what a total let down... Gah.  Oh well, always next year I guess.  Now we just have to move the focus to the Rams winning against Seattle this weekend!

so I wanted a slim card holder to go in my crossbody bags because they are so small.  So, I couldnt decide between this one and a Michael Kors one... so I decided to go with the nicer leather and got the Tory Burch one... yay for Christmas!

I also am starting a cooking class in February.. which I'm really excited about.  I've been trying to cook and bake more.  I always kinda thought I would hate it, but I actually have really grown to like it.  Its really rewarding when its actually good! Its just doing the dishes that sucks.. But, I'm determined to get better.   NYE celebration one tonight!

YAY!

Well since I've told you all the things I bought myself these past couple days.. my Best Buy, Amazon, Rory Ashton all came today! Woo!  Still waiting on Macys (with my Marc Jacobs sunglasses and my Jessica Simpson pumps) and my forever21 dress and cheap ass earrings to match this necklace I have.  Plus.. my Lily Dawson earrings order.  The Lily Dawson one wont be here for a while though cuz she takes up to 14 business days to ship her stuff because its all hand made.. Ugh. 

Any way, last night with my family was so much fun!  It was a smaller crowd this year than normal though.  No Danielle (which is sad) I didn't bring a friend this year, and my Aunt Janet didn't bring her friend Nan.  So it was just us girls!  Drank wine, shared stories, ate lots of amazing food (thank you Aunt Krista) and then I took two ambien to sleep.. I have been waking up in the middle of the night at like 4 am and laying awake for an hour.  Not cool.  Of course, then I slept through my alarm and didn't wake up until I was supposed to be leaving the house.  Typical.  So today im sporting the pony tail, glasses, jeans and banana republic v neck and flats look.  Nothing too special.  Haha

Cold brr Cooollld so cold!!!!

I applied for grad school offically on my lunch break today, felt pretty good!  Cant wait to see where I get in.  MBA here I come!  Finally got to catch up with Ashley on my lunch break today.  Its so hard now that she works nights and weekends and I work 9 to 5 I never get to see her any more.  Ugh its a bummer.  Wednesday night were going out to celebrate new years with her, her new years any way.  She has to work on the actual NYE so she wont be going out.  Hey, its an excuse for me to wear some of my new clothes :)

Tonight is girls night with my family.  Can't wait!  All the men are going out to itap in Chesterfield (which I would love to do too) because my cosuin Ben will be there and I heart him... my favorite cousin in the world!  Girls night is always a good time though... plus my Mom is bringing me groceries when she comes.. and the rest of the Rory Ashton rings that I ordered that didn't make it to me in time.. (another one of the million things I bought myself for Christmas...)

I love my Toms, but they make my feet stink by the end of the day.  It is so gross.  They are in such good shape though I dont want to throw them away... but I think im going to have to.. my poor silver pair.  I also need a new pair of Sperrys cuz those make my feet stink too.  But, like I said yesterday I'm not buying myself anything for a long time.  Although I did buy a pair of peep toed Jessica Simpson pumps today.. they were on sale and I used a gift card.  It was either the pumps, or a Michael Kors wallet.  I wont even tell you the ungodly amount of new shoes I have gotten just this month alone.. black cowboy boots, brown flats, black flats, black toms, black boots and my new pair of Kensie girl black pumps with the huge bow on the arch of my foot.  They are absolutely adorable.  Ok, Im done rambling now.. I was actually going somewhere with this post.. Oh yah, I remember!  Nordstrom has amazing customer service.   I just got off the phone with Nordstrom on my lunch break because the black glitter Toms they sent me were 6 and not 7's.  Although my foot is like a 5.5 and a 6... for some reason I have to wear 7 in Toms.  Dont ask me why... but they really took care of me.  So glad I bought all my Tom's from there instead of the Toms website!

Guilt.

I get this feeling every time I move or have a birthday, christmas... or do a ton of laundry..

Does anyone other than me ever feel guilty for having so much stuff?  I sit there and just look around at all the stuff I have.. and then I sit there and quickly do a little math.. and think about how much money I have hanging in my closet.. sitting under my sink in hair products.. or in purses at the top of my closet at my parents house.. or all the shoes I have here at my aunts and my parents.  It just seems so sinful.  I get this way every time I would move to a new apartment in college.

If I really think about how many dresses/shirts I have that I've only worn 2 or 3 times.. Ah, it just makes me feel so bad thinking about it. So, I'm going to sit here and think about how I can at least give a little time (and a little skrilla) back.  I just have to figure out where I want to channel my energy, and money.  I mean, dont get me wrong I'm not trying to go all nuts here- but I'm an adult.  I have a job- I can give back.

So, I'm going to get a little work done, answer some emails, wait (impatiently) for the chinese take out guy to come... and think about how I want to make a difference.  Other than my dream to adopt a chinese baby at some point.  Ha, I'm kidding but really I'm not.

Off to work tomorrow!  Calvin Klein sale starts tomorrow and I'm sure I have a ton of emails after being off Friday.  Yikes.  Mooonday.  But the upside of this is tomorrow is the annual Marchlewski girl party.  Eating, drinking and listening to music... a fabulous tradition!

Also... because I'm trying to be good and not browse the internet looking for things I want to buy (for a while) I'm not going to be doing product of the day.. I'm going to list some of my favorite things I got for Christmas =) Exciting... right? Ha.

I'm sure the fact that I asked for this book will make some of you laugh.  How ever, I have been reading her whole L.A. Candy series.. and if you watched 'The Hills' its a really simple quick easy read.  All of them are, they are just fun.  I really like Lauren's style and I think she's adorable and generally a positive role model.  In this book not only does she give style tips, its make up tips, how to pack for a weekend, plus obviously- things staple items that every girl should have in her closet.  And you can buy it anywhere and its $20 or less!

Merry Christmas World!

I hope that everyone had an amazing Christmas and spent it with your friends/family.  I am so blessed to have such an amazing family.  I can't imagine life with out them.  They are the best!

The best part of today: completing my Friends DVD collection.  Yep.  I said it.  Ha, really though, I had every season but Season 4.  How I ended up dancing around having every season but 4.. I don't know.  Thanks Madre!

I think I have made some weird... transition in life... I had so many little boxes of stuff to open today.  It was like I was a little kid again..  All of the expensive things I want I buy them myself... So, I got lots of goodies that I wanted. Such as I think maybe.. 5 tops from Ann Taylor loft? haha some Mizzou underwear from VS, a new Chi... that I needed badly.. tights, gift cards, books.. it was good!  Normally the older you get the less things you have to open, because you get older and the stuff you want is more expensive. So, obviously you don't have as much to open.  I'm going to take that as, I'm becoming an adult and I just buy the things I want myself.. Or.. its time to stop shopping and buying myself things... because I have way too much crap.

Lets go with both.

I even got a new Cards hat, which I needed, but its the blue cardinals hat- its not the same as my blingy red one.

I had a whole entire thought for this post other than posting about the stuff I got for xmas.  I cant remember.. Oh well....

Merry Christmas Eve!!!!

Santa came last night.. so of course I had to be up at 6:30 with the kids, my Aunt and Grandma Kathy.  It was so cute how excited they got... all the presents... ripping through them.  I kind of forgot how cute/magical it is when you believe in Santa.  Christmas has turned into such a materialistic holiday.  It's kind of sad.  Funny that I say that though because we all know the majority of the blog/my job/my business is based around clothing... and products I like/want.  But, it shouldn't be about that... its supposed to be a time to show the people that you love how much you love them, and spend time with them.

We were trying to explain to Rachel this morning how when you get older you get bigger/more expensive gifts and you don't get as many gifts... she wasnt having it/didnt really understand why.  Haha Santa brings it all right? That stuff doesnt cost money! Ha...haaa

I'm a huge slacker.  Ive gotten everyone a gift but Adam.  And I know he got my present already.  I fell in love with this dress and insisted that he order it while they still have my size.  I'm pretty sure its the dress I'm going to wear next week for New Years! I saw it, and knew I HAD to have it... its adorable.  Down right adorable. I still have to find some eye popping shoes to go with it... I'm sure ill be ordering some shoes off Zappos... on Wednesday...haha so I can get them in time.

So I really should be hopping in the shower right now, and I take forever to get ready... cuz Christina will be here in a little to go on our Christmas lunch :) Then its my Mom's side of the family Christmas celebration.  Which is one of my favorite days of the whole entire year.  Its the best.  Great food, family, presents and of course we like to have a few drinks.  Mark and Lindsey are in town this year for Christmas.  I'm really looking forward to having a girl around my age finally. Thank you for getting engaged Mark.. now Kev is 24 and I'm 23, I'm sure eventually Lindsey and I will have another girl our age too. Haha and who ever I end up with will love the guys on my Mom's side of the family.  There are enough of em... well it seems like.

I am so blessed!

I am pretty sure I work at the best company, with the best group of people!  We had our Christmas celebration today and it was awesome.. and we got off early.  I love my job!  I got vouchers to buy merchandise in the store every quarter, my paid days off... bonus check, I got paiddddd, starbucks gc, petco gc for the puppies, cute ear muffs from Joyce, candies and they bought us Bread Co.  for lunch.  Great day!

Came home to Krista cooking her ass off.. and made an amazing dinner.  It was so yum!  Then I came home... and did a little online shopping :) Santa comes to my Aunt's house tonight because shes divorced and they have to switch days... and then tomorrow my favorite day of the year!  Christmas eve with my Mom's family.  So much fun, and honestly one of my favorite days of the whole entire year.  Such good food, my Mom's family is hilarious, drinking, and fun fffuuuunnnn!

Going to start re-reading the Kite Runner and then go to bed, nighty night!

So one of my friend's Matt is moving tomorrow.. Boeing is moving him to Charleston. Sad day! Ugh. Makes me realize I def don't want to live here the rest of my life! I am babysitting tonight, which is kinda eh because I'm super tired today. I'm not really quite sure why either. The guy next to me who works for Wells Fargo has a huge binder.. And there's 2 pictures of him in the front of it. Like.. Professional pictures taken by Wells Fargo. It just looks odd.. I don't know. I can't wait to get home and cook dinner! Happy humpday yall! Half day tomorrow! Woo!!

I will kick myself later for admitting this to you all...

I am a huge hair product junky... which is ironic because sometimes im really lazy with my hair (just wearing it curly) but, it takes a lot to make it healthy!  I read who she (I will tell you the she later) was working with to make this product, and I had to buy it.  For a few valid reasons:

1. I love Very Sexy Hair products.  Generally all I use.  The healthy hair care line, the coconut oil, the leave in conditioner, the soy heat flat iron/blow drying spry are things I use everyday... plus, my Very Sexy hair spray.  Ok, you get the point. Thats who she was working with to make this product.  So, hence why I trust it.

2.  I heart dry shampoo, for many reasons.  Such as the gym, when you go outside, some Saturdays when you want to run errands and take a shower before you go out at night, and dont want to do it before you run your errands... running late.  A million things.

Ok, I only have two valid reasons.  I think she is a total idiot, but everyone knows she's got great hair, she really does... but.. I am going to buy this Heidi montag dry shampoo.  NOT because I want to support her... at all.  How ever.. I bet it is really good.  And hey, she's actually doing something respectable for once, so why not give it a shot?

I was really emotional today... I mean for those of you who know me, I am sensitive as it is, I cry when anything in books or movies touches me, I cry when my friends cry (I mean not every time.. haha but, yes Ive been known to do it..) Thinking of the events of the past month.. and a certain situation, suddenly made me start crying at my desk.  Literally, out of no where.  Never happened to me before.. ya know usually something has to happen.. or see something for a person to just start crying like that.  Yuck.  I hate that feeling.. that vulnerable feeling you cant control.

Thank god we all sit in a circle (our backs all face each other and are in a circle) and no one saw me.  So I got up walked across the street and got a Diet Coke.  No idea what happened with the random tears.  I just cant get it off my mind.  It kills me, absolutely kills me.  So, I got my shit together, called Ashie Poo haha and had my Diet Coke and went back to work.  Gotta keep on keepin on!

The day got a million times better, did some direct mail piece ass kickin' paid my Mastercard bill.. ha, the usual.

I finished A Thousand Splendid Sons... which made me cry.. twice on the bus.  In case any of you that were counting thats 3 cries in one day.  Ya, not normal.  Just one of those days I guess.  Then came home, went to Fortel's... played some Mario Carts, kicked ass, started my new book, downloaded two books on tape and now I'm off to bed... tomorrow is my last full day of work tomorrow.  Yee haw.

Well, correction these are not my rain boots, but hey hey, guess what they will be!  I heart zappos, I also heart these rain boots, and anything that has fur.. my feet are always so cold!  And they are a really great price.    I really need some new book suggestions! Feel free to throw em at me people!

I love the company I work for!

So our office is really super cold, and Taylor the graphic designer and I always have blankets we use everyday.. So I get into work today and there is a Snuggie box sitting in my chair!  How funny is that, I asked for one for Christmas for work, got it (forgot to bring it today..) and I get to work and there is one on my desk! Love it, blue... so cute and warm I might add.

I already tweeted about this earlier, but I started a new book this morning A Thousand Splendid Sons.. oh my god.  I loved the Kite Runner, but I honestly think this one is better!  I read it on the bus, at Starbucks.. and as I was walking down Washington Ave.. and I'm starting my Diet today, so no going to Rosalitas to hang out with Heather on my lunch break.. so I think I'll drink my slim fast eat my fruit and read on my lunch break.  I get cooler and cooler as the days go by.. I swear.

There were some pretty deep conversations had here lately, and I just have a few thoughts I want to share with you all.  When you believe in something.. Do you keep trying even though it seems hopeless? Or do you give up?

Everything happens for a reason, look at it as an opportunity... there will never be one door closed without one or two more opening in its place.

You cannot change the past, dont let it hold you back from being who you are and what you want to be. 

Do good things come to those that wait?  Do the good things come around for those who wait, but all the great things got snatched up by the people who went for it?

Best. Evening. Eva. Well, since 2009.

Ha, that is a bit over the top, and obviously I'm kidding.  So I get this Macys gift card for $50 bucks  this weekend... and I'm like eh.... I'm not a huge Macys shopper.  Not there is anything wrong with Macy's at all, I just generally don't stop through there, I dunno why.  So.. I'm looking online thinking.. Hmm, My Mom always gets me a Sephora gift card in my stocking every year, so I can get my Dior mascara (that I'm obsessed with, but usually scam some way for someone else to buy it for me... usually My Mom.. like Xmas, Easter, Birthday... etc. Good grades... haha) Cant really milk any of that any more, other than the Christmas card.  So I'm browsing Macys site thinking.. "ah, ill get my dior mascara and some lash primer" And I look at the accessories, look at this patton leather coach wallet I want... (Ill post the links to that tomorrow..) So I keep thinking, Ok, or I could just use the giftcard and get it off my wallet.  Since I'm going to buy it with my Christmas bonus.. and I decide to look at the accessories tab.. so I start browsing the sunglasses... and I see Marc By Marc Jacobs..

And for any of you that know me well know that I had a pair of MBMJ sunglasses for about a year, and pretty sure they got stolen out of my purse.  Well, because as one of my friends at the time used to say I was a dumbass for always leaving my purse open in public.  Well, frankly she was right!  I'm sure I hung my purse on a chair at a bar and someone saw the huge hunky case sitting on the top of my purse and took them.  Yep, she was definitely right, I think I deserved to have them taken being that dumb.  The thing is, these glasses arent like they are so super expensive and amazing.  But I LOVED them, they were the perfect weight, they looked good on my face.  They were big, but not too big and the tinting on the lenses were perfect.  I hunted for those glasses (and bitched about them being gone) for weeks.  Couldn't find a new pair on MBMJ website.  So, I thought it was a lost cause.  And I havent had a nice or even decent pair of sunglasses since.  But you all know what I mean right? Something doesnt have to be the most expensive to be the best, or your favorite!  They were exactly what I wanted... they were perfect!

So, moral of the story... I look at the Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses page... looking to see if there was anything else that I wanted and I look at the very last pair on the bottom of the page.  There they were.. in a brownish... olive color.  So I think "Oh, cool... I could get them.. even though they arent black and it would only be $50.  I loved the way they fit" BAM sucka... whats the only color they offer on the website? So, my christmas gifts from my Dad's side of the family were interesting, always a little unpredictable.  Gotta like that.  I got a snuggie (love, duh) jewelry, gift cards, chocolate wine (will either be really good, or NASTY) Christmas day will be the judge of that.. cute scarves, gloves,  little goodies.

I am laying in bed answering emails and getting some work done.. while I finish all my laundry and watching Eat, Pray, Love again.  I'm going to save my books for the bus tomorrow.  My room is so clean, looks so good and is organized :)  I am finally going to decorate this room after the 1st of the year.  Get rid of this pink comforter, actually put things on the walls.. it definitely needs it.  I wanted to get some new clothes/jewelry before I decided to do that.  Clearly have my priorities straight... haha

I do not feel so hot, ugh.  I will be in bed early tonight.  Monday tomorrow..

No product or fact of the day... just thoughts on my work out rountine/diet that starts after Christmas... and how I'm going to start wearing all the scarves, jewelry, and head bands that I have... and never wear.  Since October I have really really amped up my jewelry collection... Time to start wearing it!

Change of plans... ARG

Damn everyone having to work on Thursday, my family Christmas got changed to this weekend again... so looks like I'll be missing the girls lake weekend :( Which is so sad because I have seen Bethany Maggie and Christina (even though Christina and I talk every single day... haha) in a while, it really sucks!  But family time is always good too, esp these family members that I only get to see a few times a year.

I feel like myself again today, I am wearing a dress.  I hate all this jean business.  I want the weather to be warm again, and I need to get some cute shoes that arent heels (boots cute flats) that go with tights, so that I can wear more dresses.  I just feel better this way... jeans, blah.  Khakis, and black pants different story... but still blah.  I really just prefer dresses and skirts all the time!

Really sad I'm missing all friends this weekend at the lake, boo.

After the holidays, its major diet time.  Time to be thin again like I was before... and early this fall.  But, its hard with the holidays so after, its gym and diet time again.  No more of this shape, not havin it.. :)

Watched Eat, Pray, Love last night.. um, I thought it was good but I thought it was more depressing than anything... did anyone else other than me feel that way?  Although it did help that Meis, Rob, Ashley, Christina and I were all having a "twitversation" as Rob would say.. about what a dumbass I am (trying to talk to ppl on twitter... but not tagging them...) Robs blog, and confusing Christina.  Baha.

Also, I wish I was a kid today, damn them getting off school because of the ice.  Ahh, the good ole days.  I rented Eat, Pray, Love this morning at Redbox, have any of you seen it? I heard its really good.  I want to read the book but Ive got 3 books I bought that I need to read before I buy that one.  I think im going to buy that one on my ipod though, and listen to it.  Its an easy way to drawn out all the idiots on the bus.  Example... the other day this guy was just talking, and talking, and talking... no one was even listening to him.  I was considering starting to bang my head against the window, in hopes that it would cause brain damage.  Thats how painful it was listening to this idiot talk.

Fact of the day: I dont drink milk at all, unless its in my cereal or Im putting it in my coffee.  Blah, gross.

I am in the best mood again today.  It was cold this morning, but not the, I-want-to-die its so cold.... kind of cold.  I cant believe that Christmas is only 10 days away.  Jesus.

Instead of reading or designing, or talking to our web lady this morning I sat down and just wrote... which I havent done since I was in high school.  It felt really good.  Last night we had the most amazing dinner that Krista's boyfriend made for us... he is such a good cook.  One goal for 2011: learn how to cook, or be a better cook.  I think im going to look into taking some classes... yes.  Were getting lunch from Lucas Park today.  Im hungry already... I could eat my foot.

Fact of the day:

I own an ungodly amount of dresses... I literally dont know how many.  If I didnt live in Missouri I would wear a dress every single day.  I hate wearing pants/jeans.  They bug me.  Although I do loveeee sweatpants.  And have an ungodly amount of those as well... Yikes.

The Good Wife...

Okay, so that episode wasnt about Alicia and Will at all really, but I heart Will.  I know you are married Alicia, but you love Will! And he loves you... come on, follow your heart... go for it!  Sometimes thats what you have to do, even though your head tells you that hes a jackass (or, youre making a total jackass out of yourself) which is my case currently.  Ugh.

Um, other than my Alicia and Will rant... please tell me that I'm not the only one that cried during that episode? I cried during the jail/Dad daughter scene, and the end... it was so touching.  Couldn't help but not cry!

On a side note- my Grandma would be so proud of my organization skills! She got me one of those.. under the bed... storage units?  Well, any way.  I put all of my dresses (about 30... seriously) Other than about 10 and put them under my bed in the storage... holder.. thing.  And I organized my closet the way I like it... Not ROYBGV though.  Which would be, belts, vests (cute, and puffy) then all sports apparel... which would be my cards shirt, my mizzou jersey, my  mizzou dresses... then all my jackets.. my black/brown leather jacket, black, khaki jackets, my blazers and my bright yellow coat from gap... then all the dresses I didnt put under my bed,  then all my thin sweaters, then all shirts with collars, then short sleeve tops, then long sleeve tops, then all my sweaters at the very end (the thick and thin kind... depending on how they hang)

Then, I put all my boyfriend style sweat pants under my bed, yoga and cropped in the drawers, khanki, gray, and all skirts in the drawers, t shirts, bra, undies, yep.  Now yall know how I like to have my stuff organized.  Not by color, but by the type of item.  Haha... oh jeeze.  I cant believe I just typed all that out, just because it took me so long... I'll post it.

Took my ambien, time to go to sleep!  Tomorrow we are taking a staff picture at work, and we are all going to wear silly/goofy/funny t shirts for the picture..  I am wearing my tie dye "Gettin lucky in Kentucky" t shirt... with my polo yellow sweater and some pearls.  haha Stylin'  Cant wait to see this picture.  I'll post it for yall when I get to see it.

10:30, time to finish my book and go to bed.  Night yall.  Hump day tomorrow.. and my favorite man in the world's birthday... My Dad!  Best guy ive had the privilege to know/be related to.  Love you Daddy!

So I'm sitting reading my new book.. (that I'm mildly obsessed with) at Starbucks this morning and literally a man who looked exactly like Santa (dressed in the suit and all) came in, ringing bells saying "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!" and he had 3 elves with him, that were also dressed in costume.. going around handing out Hershey Chocolate bars.  Very random. I have decided that he really might be Santa, due to the fact that he gave me one of my favorite things on planet earth: chocolate.  Although, he could have given me a caramello or a whatchamacallit bar. 

I need Christmas eve to be here so I can get my black boots from my grandma, so I can use my new Ann Taylor Loft super duper tights, and one of the many new dresses I've treated myself to..  Yes.

Also, my black Uggs, the black fur keeps bleeding onto my feet... not a fan of this.  So I'm wearing my camel pair today.. as well as sitting here with my Monsanto blanket trying to stay warm.

I didnt become a coffee drinker until my last semester of college, and now I drink it every single day- until about noon. I go to Starbucks every morning and read (or listen) to my book of the week, for about 40 minutes, and relax before I head to work.

All of the goodies that I treated myself to these past couple weeks.. RT jewelry, Lily Dawson earrings and wrap bracelet, and all the dresses that I ordered myself all were delivered this afternoon.  I am such a nerd I cant wait to get home! Yay, new clothes and jewelry! I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for this stuff! Merrrry Christmas to me! Now all I need are my Toms to come in!

SO cold so cold so cold!

I am a huge nerd today at work, I have some puma socks on, that my boss let us have for free last week... on with my Uggs, cuz I thought my toes were going to turn into little pieces of ice.  It is SO cold in here.  Snuggie, ugg... sock, layers and layers on.  I cant wait to get home tonight and snuggle up with one of my new books and be warm. :)

I came from my parents to work this morning...and it was an hour and 20 minutes to get downtown, normally its about 40.  People in St. Louis one, dont know how to drive, and two- are even worse when there is any kind of weather change.  It was horrible.

I went to Rosalitas to visit Heather for lunch, and had some tortilla soup and warmed myself up!  Tonight, work out, do laundry, be warm... read and sleep... Krista will be gone all night too, so I'll have the house to myself, so a good quiet night.  Even though I would welcome company.. haha :)

How I love you so.  So glad that Seattle lost today.. even though we basically lost this game already... But, I'm glad we at least get to have one home play off game.  And all you Rams fans out there know its going to be just ONE home play off game, but hey thats a big accomplishment compared to last season.

The invoice came for the playoff games came this week... cant wait to go (although, eh, I'm not so excited about paying for it, but whatever its not too bad) I wish it were still the days when my parents always paid for that kinda stuff.  Damn this adult thing, I think ill go back to college.

My ipod has been successfully updated, and I think im pretty much all caught up for Christmas, just have a few more people to buy for... and I'm all done.  So then it will be time to buy myself things... I really want to get more DVD's- and esp some blu ray DVD's.. I dont have as many as id like. Bah.

Football, snow, movies, and coffee by the fire =)

I woke up this morning to snow on the ground, (as did everyone else in the majority of the midwest... and other parts of the country) it made me so happy! I love snow, the first day it falls any way.  So pretty, and dare I say magical? So hooky and cliche to say that, but its true, especially around the holidays.

So obviously the Rams play today, hoping for a win, we shall see.  Watching "Sunday at Tiffany's" yes, not breakfast at Tiffany's... but its a really adorable movie.  Just waiting to watch the Lams game.

Downloading music, (my ipod needs to be updated, big time) I feel like all I use it for now is to listen to books, and watch The Good Wife, Beverly Hills 90210 and Friends.

We are at trader joes, and I hate to say it, but I am going to move to my favorite flowers from Daisies (my 2ns fav of course..) But I have found a new fav flower! Chilean Peonies. They are so beautiful! The cookie exchange was good, I love my aunt janets house so beautiful, and decorated so well for the holidays! Off to barnes and noble after Trader Joes to get me a new book. I'm going to read this week instead of listen to a book on my ipod (spicing it up... Yes!)Tonight would be the perfect night to order chinese and snuggle up on the couch and watch a Christmas movie. So Krista and I were on our way to Chesterfield to my aunts and we pull into Bank of America off New Halls Ferry and there were cops everywhere.. Police tape.. The place had definitely been robbed. Wow, solid North County. Geeze.... What a crappy day in St. Louis... Ugh. Happy Saturday everyone!

TGIF folks!

I look really country today... although my outfit is cute, its definitely country.  Didn't realize it until I left the house this morning.  Oh well.  I'm wearing this cute khaki dress, a jacket, brown tights and cowboy boots... and my hair is in a pony tail.. if that creates a mental image for you.  The lady at Starbucks said to me today... "girl, your hair in a pony tail is so cute! You look like a little girl!" Um, compliment... then kind of an insult? I think so.

Staying in tonight, being good.  I really want to get my nails done after work, and go tanning.  I just havent found a nail salon out here that I like.  I want a full set and a pedicure!  Its been a little while since ive had my pedi, and wearing boots, sperrys and Toms all the time I'm constantly fixing my toes. 

I am in the best mood today, the best mood that I've been in, for the past couple weeks.  Krista doesnt feel well, but was supposed to go out tonight... So I wonder if we will be staying in together... or If I'll have the whole house to myself?!  I need to bake some cookies tonight for the cookies exchange tomorrow, which is at Aunt Janet's this year.  I love the holidays, and family traditions. 

Fact of the day: I have 5 dogs in my life... (a lot...) Darby, the chocolate lab at work (I want a chocolate lab so bad!) Louie, a cock a poo mut at my Aunts- Sassy, a malti poo at my Aunts.  Bailey, who is an old cranky yellow lab but my baby at my parents and she is also my  favorite out of the 5, then last but not least- Murphy my Mom's empty nest dog, who is a cava poo.  Can't forget Kennedy either... but my daily life now, full of poodle mixes, and Labs! haha

Today flew by! We were all cracking up today, and I was warm and so were my feet.  Tomorrow is going to be a super super busy day.

To try or not to try... Going to be so hard not to work on it, and make it better.  Although, I think its a lost cause...  Heart breaking.

Oh its my favorite time of the year!

All morning we have been talking about next Friday and Saturday... (My Dad's family Christmas celebration) One of my favorite weekends of the whole entire year.  Always gets outta hand.. I love it!  The Rams game on Sunday... over all, awesome weekend.

Cant wait to see Tommy, Natalie, Timmy and Gregg! My favorite cousins =) There is so much work for us to do today...I'm eating lunch at my desk, although of course I made time to run across the street to Washington Ave post and grab a soda.  Always have time for a diet coke.. always.

Plus its freezing in here, so I'm taking off my Toms, putting on my Uggs and going to whip the snug.  I love when I go and read all of my marketing stats for the blog and see all the people around the world who are reading it.  Although I think the majority of the links are to the products- but hey if they are going to sell thats the ultimate goal.

I really wanted to go see the Nutcracker at the Fox... I thought it was closer to Christmas, it was last week I totally missed it =( Ok, enough babbling about nothing... time to eat and finish all my emails.  I hope yall are having a great Thursday!

Free pair of puma socks... yesss

I got almost all of my goodies in the mail yesterday!  Not the dresses that I ordered.  Which was the one I was the most excited about.  I was nervous about ordering my new pair of Khaki pants online, but they ended up fitting perfectly.  That is why I love reviews so much, good work.

Not that I've shared this with you world, but I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of cowboy boots (which I havent found yet) But I found a pair at an amazing price, that I bought back in September.  So.. I bought this ADORABLE red, white and blue plaid  dress to go with them, I just need to find a cute brown sweater to wear over the dress since its freezing outside... and I bought brown tights on Sunday.  I shouldn't be buying this much stuff for myself in December. Oh well.  I deserve it, I havent shopped (other than a few random things) in a while.  Or what feels like a while...

Waiting on my earrings I ordered like a month ago to come... where are they?!!?

Fact of the day: I have one little brother named Adam, who is 19.  We are nothing alike, our personalities are totally different... and we still to this day wrestle.... like we did when we were younger. He usually kicks my butt... well, always.  But I put up a good fight. =)

I hate when you cant help something and its totally out of your control... even though you try and you try, nothing.


On a side note, I just laughed my ass off.  CRACKED up... and you all might not think this is as funny cuz you werent here... but a customer sent us an email today talking about what great customer service Josh has actually he used the word "perfect" so, we are giving Josh trouble about it... and then Josh proceeds to tell us that a customer sent him a mixed tape one time.... full of dance music.  The customer was so thrilled with his customer service he felt compelled to make him a cd full of dance music...?  I know it doesnt sound funny, but it was, you definitely had to be here.

Last note of the day.. I am out of here in about 20 minutes, I'm going to get on the right bus this time, and I also need to add fact and product of the day:

Fact: I live with my single aunt who is recently divorced, and is one of my best friends.  But, I am apartment hunting on Washington Ave, because thats where I work and it would be amazing to work and live downtown.  Cant wait!

 Last year for Christmas my little brother got me North Face gloves... Which I'm wearing today.  I love them, they are amazing.  Although they are a little bulky which is kind  of a pain (and makes it impossible to text or browse the internet on your cell phone..)  None the less, amazing gloves.  I have them in the light blue (which I also dont recommend because they get dirty.) I have spilled coffee on mine and had to wash them a ton of times.

A little daily run down...

Bonehead.  Describes me today.

Not only did I not sleep at all last night, (like a total of 2 hours maybe..) the few hours I did sleep, were at like 5 and 6 this morning.  I woke up 11 minutes before my grandma was supposed to pick me up to take me to the bus.  Ok, this starts the day off solid.

Then, I get on the bus and there is this bat shit crazy lady just talking and gabbering about things I could barely even understand.  The whole bus is silent listening to this insane woman talk.  Talking about being homeless, having 20 dollars to feed her son? Then she busts out and says she has her PhD from Wash U (um, no way) and that she used to be the head of the nursing dept at Barnes... (I am the only caucasian on this bus) She starts ranting and ranting about "dumb white bitches" and at this point, everyone is starring at me.  I'm doing all I can not to laugh, it was hilarious.  The bus driver finally turns around and says "Maam, there is a white person on this bus"  She looks back in the bus and sees me and says "Well, Sorry" and keeps talking.

Then, it was just a slow... cold cold day at work.  I really need to invest in a snuggie.  So... I'm standing at the bus stop... texting my brother about the flu shot, and get on the wrong bus.... yep.  So, it took me a solid 2 hours to get home tonight because I had to catch 3 different buses.  Cool, so cool.  I am not freezing any more, im going to warm up.. watch the good wife, and go to sleep early!

Over all the day was pretty decent.  The work day flew by, I couldn't believe it.  I have made Rosalitas (new mexican restaurant on wash ave) my lunch spot... the bartender and I are buddies now... even exchanged phone numbers.  Ha, really though, I've been there enough and weve chatted so much I'm surprised that we hadn't exchanged numbers before that!

Growing up is so hard!  And not as fun as being a kid... or I guess being in High school and college.  Grabbed dinner tonight at Deavers.... it was good although I barely ate anything.  I don't have much of an appetite.  I dont know how many diet cokes I sucked down.. which is why I cant sleep right now.  So much caffeine.

AH did any one watch gossip girl tonight? Oh my god... SO good...

I am going to absolutely have a panic attack.  I do not know what to do...

Losing my mind... But, on the other hand... I have lots of goodies coming in the mail this week.. Plus I did get some goodies from Ann Taylor Loft today... Merry Christmas to me, from me.  And Merry Christmas from Santa,  thank you Mom.

Murphy (our puppy) got a hair cut... and the poor little baby looks like a totally different dog... an ugly one... actually. We all know what it's like to have a bad hair cut... I think he's had about 5 hair cuts in his life and two of them have been down right terrible.  Poor little pup.

Cuz I think its going to be hard! I am dreading walking into work because I know I'm going to have so many emails! Krista comes home from Brazil tonight and I can't wait, I've really missed her! Its so quiet and lonely without her. Well I guess I shouldn't sat quiet because Louie and Sassy are there haha they aren't exactly quiet. So everyday I've decided that I'm going to post a product of the day- that I like/want. Along with my oh-so-fun fact of the day about me. Well, off to work. Anotha day anotha dolllaaa. Im excited?!

People from Russia, Singapore and Croatia read my blog on a daily basis! I have no idea why this excites me, considering this blog is um... NOTHING special by any means.  I love the marketing tools this site provides, and my work providing it... yeee! haha Any way... thats exciting.

Laundry, work out... a few friends episodes and bed time... Thank god for Thursday!  Krista home tomorrow, date night Friday... pretty decent week.

Spilled coffee on my ugg boots...

This morning walking from Starbucks to work I managed to spill coffee on my Ugg's... luckily they are the dark brown ones... so you can't tell.  But still, it was a loss of coffee.  The bus was so packed this morning it was unblievable.  On top of that I got to work and I have 150 emails to take care of.  Damn holiday season.  But it's better to be working than not, plus.. I love my job.

Although all I want to do is go home, crawl into my warm bed and watch tv.  I think I'll do that tonight after work. 

My lame blogger fact of the day:  My first animal that I ever owned was a Dalmation, his name was Hornsby... after the baseball player Rogers Hornsby.  I had an obsession with 101 Dalmations... and begged my parents until they got me one.  He lived to be 9 years old and died when I was in 8th grade. He was the sweetest (and dumbest) dog.

Loved the fashion show last night... I am now on the hunt to find that Giraffe print set they featured... it was so cute, I must have it.

I still have no idea what I want for Christmas... Ahh... I still have to let my Mom, Aunt, Grandma and brother know what I want.  Why does it seem so easy when you're younger?

Well, I guess I should start  answering the ungodly amount of emails that I have.  Happy Humpday!

fact of the day...

On my work blog I have to provide a fact for the "get to know your blogger" so, might as well share it here: I attended Stephens College. A small womens liberal arts college located in Columbia Missouri. Near The University of Missouri Columbia for 3 years. I attended a community college where I grew up in St. Charles County, Missouri my first year of college. I graduated with my BS in Marketing: Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Event Planning.

Tuesday..

Krista is in Brazil for work until Thursday, which means the house all to myself. Beautiful. Although I didn't know that Louie barked at 530 am to be let out of his cage. Yeah, that was really fun... Today is the first day I haven't gone to starbucks before work. I opted for the Diet Coke before work instead of the coffee. I will be working over time this week... And hopefully until the end of the month. That plus my xmas bonus will definitely help me buy my new purse and wallet I have my eye on... In the book I was listening to. (Yes, I listen to books on my ipod...) Any how, said "You're as happy as you make your mind up to be" that is my motto for the time being. Things are better now, and I have learned A LOT about me, people and life in general these past 8 months. I still can't believe I'm not in college any more. Applied to grrad school (night) classes last night.. So we will see which school I get into! I need it to be December 15th so it can be girls weekend! Ahhh! Off to work. Happy Tuesday yall!

I hate waiting in the rain for the stupid bus.  I really do like not having to drive to and from work though, it's really nice.

Didn't realize that I hadn't posted since Tuesday last week.  Thanksgiving and the busy season at work got in the way of my (personal) blogging.

I had an epic fail eating Hooters last night I really don't like eating things off the bone... ew.  Then, having this discussion this morning with Ben I found out nasty things about chicken nuggets... Pretty sure I won't be eating chicken for a really long time.  Thanks a lot Ben.

Tonight is 90210 & Gossip Girl night, one of my favorite nights of the week.

I am drawing a blank... I know I have a lot more to say... Well, so much for a good blog update. Oh well.

So... The day seemingly got SLOWER today.  I was starting to wonder if that was possible... Time literally can crawl.

The episodes of gossip girl and 90210 aren't new tonight... very sad.  Looks like I'm going to have to finish up season one of the Good Wife :)

I just had mexican dinner, it was delicious.  Although I am stuffed, almost to the point that I feel kind of sick..

Another thing I'll leave you with a quote of the day... as I'm walking across the street today to go to my fav Wash ave little mini mart a guy screams at me "SOME PEOPLE JUST LOOK GOOD IN RED!!!" I was instantly confused... due to the fact that I was wearing pink.... colorblind.

This is definitely a Monday.  NOT a fan... I got rushed (by my 80 year old grandmother) out the door this morning... and left my keys, and my wallet on the kitchen table.  Luckily, I am lazy and hate change.. so I have a tendency to throw change in the bottom of my purse... so I had enough money to buy my morning coffee. Nothing like paying in change at Starbucks at 8:10 on a Monday to start the day/week off right...

Couldn't sleep last night... tossed and turned alllllll night.  Which is odd, because we really put em back yesterday at the Rams game.  Which I might add was one of the best tailgates (Rams...) that I've been to in a really long time.  My 2nd cousin Tim is hilaarious... although he did drop my blackberry and it bounced on the concrete about 2 or 3 times... But eh, I get a new phone soon any way and it still works.

Instead of answering emails I am sitting here blogging... I'm going to get back to work now.  Happy Monday!

Friday!

It's odd... it seems like no one is around today.  The bus was empty.. not even the usuals... and starbucks was empty the whole entire time I was there this morning.  It's throwing me off! i'm a little used to seeing these people everyday now!

Today seems to be going by slow, although it is a good day =)

I got so much done last night, I'm feeling pretty good about myself.  The only thing I'm really disappointed with is today is my family's girl annual shopping trip and I can't make it because I can't take off yet... Bummer.  First time I've missed it in 4 years!

And also question of the day... why does a 30 minute lunch break seem so short?

Day two of this "serious" blogging..

Thought I would try and sharpen up on this skill on my lunch break... not that there is a whole lot of skill to this but I know that I can do a lot better..

Sat for about 3 hours last night and built one of my two sites... Looks like I've got about 8 more hours ahead of me on this first one... but hey, in the end it will all be worth it... and I'm definitely paying someone to do the other site there is no way in hell I'm even going to remotely attempt that one.

I have also had way too much coffee this morning. I'm a little shakey...

 The same tranny sits at a table across from me at the same time every morning at Starbucks. Honestly, I dont know if hes a tranny... or likes to wear wigs? Honestly somedays he looks like a very manly woman, other days (like today) he looks like a guy... with a chick wig on.  I am beyond confused.  Maybe if I keep seeing him I'll strike up a conversation... Maybe?

One thing that I love the most about living with Krista... other than the time we spend together.. My Grandma doing my laundry.  Looooove it, thank you Kathy!  Also thanks for taking me to and from the bus everyday.  You are a gem.

Really going to try getting into this whole blogging thing..

Since I have been told that it is essential that I blog... I will try to attempt to take this more seriously.

As my Aunt Krista and I always say... "Life is hard" I have found this to be true, although in hard times I have found that there are amazing, great people out there.  People that make you realize that there is so much to look forward to, and there are so many things in life that are amazing and worth living.  So, although life is hard, its great too...  I have been blessed with so many things in my life I couldn't even begin to tell you.  Family, Friends, a great life, an education, my health... I could go on and on...

These were my thoughts of the day.  I would elaborate a little more but it would bore yall.  Watching the good wife and then off to work tomorrow.  Another day another dolla!

Work starts on Monday, I am so excited!  To finally have a job, health insurance... you know all the good things... I have such a good feeling about this job!

Mizzou!!! Need I say more? What a great game! I had the best weekend in Columbia.  I got to see all my favorite girls, and got to see my cousin Ben too =)

Got the job downtown!!!! Hell yes!!!

Well... Not Unemployed..

I got the management position at Soma at the Meadows that is opening in November.  I havent accepted it yet-  I think I'm going to hold out until the end of the week to see if the company that I really want to work for (and my 1st and 2nd interview) went really well with... and see if they offer me a position.

Mainly cuz I want to work off Wash Ave and get an apartment downtown :) So I'm crossing my fingers.

Finally the best part of my day- the investment check I got.  Now its really time to crack down and get some stuff done.

I dont know if there's anything in the world that a little DMB & coffee can't fix.  I'll add beer to that list as well.  Stressful day today- Paid off lots of stuff for AGA- stupid ass stuff like contracts and deposits (who needs em? ha)  Seriously.  Also, why didn't I take a pattern making class in college? Or like all of them.... This pattern maker lady is not cheap.  I think I might have to invest in some classes =)  Can't wait to see Ashley tonight!

I love Alabama being number 8 in the BCS standings... it really is a beautiful thing.

On another note, I got my first notice today for the payments starting of my student loan, yuck.  Not looking forward to starting to pay for that, but looking forward to paying them off quickly. Yee!

Watching the Hills instead of Friends today... in the background of course while I sit here and get work done.  Go me!

It's getting closer and closer to Halloween.. Still don't know what the costume of choice is yet... hmmm...

Good Morning World!

So my parents are back to work this week after being on vacation all last week... It's a little sad cuz It's just me and the dogs kicking it today while I work.  Getting a lot done today! Even though I was fairly productive yesterday.

I have two job interviews again tomorrow... One is a second interview, so excited!  The company I got the second interview was the company I was really interested in to begin with.  Looks like I'll have to get an apartment downtown if I get this job... :) How horrible!

Off for a run before I begin the work day.

Thoughts Day One

Today I should be trying to get a lot accomplished.  I have got a lot done today... but not considering how long I have been awake. I have recently tackled my ridiculous fear of (and pure stubborn ness) of making my own cup of coffee.

I did make my (very) own cup today.  Solo.

I am sitting here with Murphy and Bailey (our dogs) Watching the Rams not totally get their asses kicked by the Chargers.  They are surprising everyone.  This is the team that I like to see!

I have learned so much since May when I graduated.  When it comes to life, friends, the value of your family and the rewarding feeling that comes from working hard.

Leave you hanging with that thought for the afternoon, off to accomplishing as much as I can this Sunday.  Go Rams!
